2016-2017 Vex Competition
VEX Robotics Competition “Starstruck” is played on a 12’x12’ square field. Two alliances – one “red” and one “blue” – composed of two teams each, compete in matches consisting of a fifteen second autonomous period followed by one minute and forty-five seconds of driver-controlled play.
Our Mission
Team 99000 is always striving to be better, to make the robots we design stronger, faster, and more efficient. We accomplish that by having a black & white mindset in terms of what our goals are each and every year. Winning world championship has always been, and continues to be our main goal. We set our goals high because we know that in order to be a world class team, we have to put our maximum efforts into building the robot.
What is Team 99000?
We are a medium sized team, comprising of 99000A, 99000B, 99000X, and 99000Y. With an overall total of 26 members, we stay busy doing our jobs and are always looking to meet other teams and converse over the current challenge. In the Nothing But Net challenge, we placed 136th in the world for our Programming Skills and 437th for Robot Skills.
